Christian school has a new home

WINTERSVILLE - The Jefferson County Christian School now located in Mingo Junction will move later this year to a new home in the former Wintersville Elementary school building on Fernwood Road.

Island Christian hosts tournament starting Tuesday

A fourth-quarter scoring slump cost Island Christian School a 47-42 loss to Princeton Christian in Thursday's regular-season closer for the boys basketball Eagles. Eagle guard Shaka Smith scored a game-high 26 points -- 61 percent of the ICS total. Senior center Kadian Carter added eight points.
